News Facts:

•Ideas Positive: The Unilab Youth Camp for Change is an idea generated camp and competition which aims to inspire college students to come up with fresh research-based community development projects that promote advanced health and wellness at the community level.

•This program taps on the youth to create community projects and while experiencing one of the Filipino core values: bayanihan.

•Five teams were chosen to compete in the finals which was held at Unilab Bayanihan Center, Mandaluyong City last September 25, 2010.

•The winners of this competition will receive 100,000Php (1st Place) and 50,000Php (2nd and 3rd Place) as seed money to implement their project proposals, a trophy for their school, and other prizes.

•The winners of this competition are: UA&P’s Team BIGGKAS: Buklod Bukid Sowing Nutrition Reaping Hope (1st Place), UP Diliman’s Team UB&G: May Papel Ako Paper Charcoal Project (2nd Place),  and De La Salle Das Mariῆas’ Team Serve: Sa Unilab Bubutika (3rd Place)
